Baseball Bats can be dangerous, flying objects when a professional athlete lets them go. We’ve seen the danger first-hand in recent events. But sometimes these bat releases turn in to great fun for the fans and epically-entertaining moments.\u00a0 So we’ve compiled ten video clips of times that bats have flown out of the hands of Major League hitters and turned in to something safe and memorable. If you’re time is limited, you will want to skip to numbers 1-3.<\/p>\n

This broken bat fortunately did not hit anyone! A sharp object flying that fast could seriously hurt someone! However, the fan to retrieved this bat seemed to be very pleased with his new souvenir!<\/p>\n

Carlos Gomez of the Milwaukee Brewers<\/h2>\n<p>This is a classic case of a batter simply and surprisingly losing his grip. Asdrubal Cabrera of the Cleveland Indians<\/h2>\n<p>As Asdrubal Cabrera swings at the 84 mph pitch, he loses grip of the bat and it flies into the crowd. The bat nails the little lady in the pink shirt in the arm! Hitter: Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins<\/h2>\n<p>The fan who caught this bat was so excited he set his drink down and showed the bat off to the rest of the crowd! Hitter: Addison Russell of the Chicago Cubs<\/h2>\n<p>This lady probably just wanted to go to the concession stand and get a hot dog or some nachos; instead she is nailed in the shoulder with a high-speed wooden bat! Although she was okay, she probably was not very happy with what happened. She did not even get to keep the bat. Hitter: Justin Sellers of the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/h2>\n<p>Justin Sellers of the Los Angeles Dodgers lets his bat soar into the stands! In the replay, you see that the bat narrowly misses a fan in the front row then bounces up right into the hand of the guy behind him. Jesus Sacre of the Seattle Mariners<\/h2>\n<p>The fan who caught Jesus Sacre\u2019s bat had the crowd around him almost bowing down! The spectator had his eye on the bat as soon as it flew out of Sacre\u2019s hands. Moises Sierra of the Chicago White Sox<\/h2>\n<p>There is always something so scary about being a pitcher, and that would be the risk of a ball or bat coming right back at you leaving you no time to react. Moises Sierra\u2019s bat broke in half and the barrel smashes into Travis Wood\u2019s pitching arm! He did not let it stop him, though. He stayed in the game.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>2. Hitter: Chris Carter of the Houston Astros<\/h2>\n<p>As the announcer says, this is something very rarely seen before! Shortstop Eric Sogard was so focused on getting behind that ball to make a play he does not even notice the broken bat flying towards him.The bat seemed to just follow the ball right to Sogard. The batter would probably have been out at first base had his bat not taken down the player with the ball! The batter, Chris Carter, was actually the batter in video #10, also. Trot Nixon of the Boston Red Sox<\/h2>\n<p>At first watch this video seems to be just another batter losing control of his bat, but if you listen to the announcers they do not believe Trot Nixon did this on accident!
