Vullo Bat Company Overview<\/h2>\n
Vullo Bat Company is a family-run business that believes in quality over quantity, and making its custom bats one at a time – not mass-produced. Each bat is hand-made from start to finish by one person, the owner. Vullo selects straight-grained hand-split maple and ash billets, sourced from the Northeastern United States. Wood billets are stored in a humidity-controlled room to ensure that the wood does not take on excess moisture, and then crafted to exact customer specifications with frequent caliper measurements taken during the process. After lathe turning and hand-sanding with five different grits of sandpaper, the bat is finished with the specified color and a glossy top-coat and end-cupped if needed to achieve the proper weight.<\/p>\n
