Monday night’s Home Run Derby debuted the SnapBat, a baseball-bat-turned-selfie-stick, that youthful fans and players used to capture the moment like never before.
Yahoo! Sports took a deeper look at the process of inventing the SnapBat, saying it “puts the run-of-the-mill selfie stick to shame.”
It was the brainchild of MLB Advanced Media’s Andrew LeRay, who said it took just five weeks to produce after the idea came out during a June brainstorming session. BaseballBat.net fans can catch up on all the online chatter using the hashtag #SnapBat.
