Combat Overview
Combat Bats continues to provide top-level performance and soft feel based on their baseball bat’s long-barrel, single wall construction model. Combat bats benefit from advances in the blended fiber and anisotropic composite technologies to make the bats more durable without sacrificing feel, according to the manufacturer. Combat markets their bats based on high performance features like Maximum Allowable Performance (MAP), Ultra Soft Feel (USF) and Super Sweet Spot Size (SSS).
The Combat Sports story began with a small Canadian company that designed and manufactured top-quality composite baseball bats and hockey sticks for other sporting goods companies starting in 1994. From those beginnings – and through several re-brandings – Combat Sports has emerged as one of the most advanced composite and hybrid composite manufacturer in the industry. Among their technological claims, Combat says that their bats are “hot out of the wrapper” – that they don’t need the break in period that most bats need. Combat Sports lives by the motto: “For Players, By Players,” and they base their success on the passion that players bring to the game.
