BWP Overview
BWP Bats, based in Brookville, PA, was a long-time supplier of billets to the leading bat makers before getting into the business of making their own bats at the end of the 1990’s. It wasn’t an easy road, but BWP has found its niche as an up-and-comer in the market. BWP owns its own forests and mills that produce the wood they use for bats.
As a result, they control the manufacturing process like few others can claim. From these woods, BWP produces the kind of straight-grained, high density bats that appeal to serious players. Today, about 150 professional players (Major and Minor Leagues) use BWP bats. BWP makes bats from Ash, Red Oak and Maple; their Pro Select Hard Maple bats are especially highly-regarded.
