Texas Timber Overview
Texas Timber began in 1998 with father and son Wayland and Joe Hardin. Texas Timber uses Northern White Ash and Rock Maple from trees that are at least 50 years old from the Catskill Mountains. They let the wood dry out for 6-8 months before being used. They started out handcrafting each bat, but began using machines to speed up the process a couple of years after they officially opened. Bat prices range from $59.00 to $99.00.
